What was I Thinking?

So, my boss calls me into the office yesterday to talk about something, and I end up mentioning that I've been feeling tired lately.  One of the reasons, I say, is that I'm bored.  I mean, let's face it, after 17-years, producing a newscast isn't exactly a challenge.  Anyway, by the time I walked out of the office, I had committed to doing a half-hour show about heroin or drugs or something like that.  It's not due until September, so there's time.  But, still.  More work will make me less tired?  Right.
On a lighter note, I saw "Star Wars Episode III" over the weekend.  I liked it a lot.

Not much to report over the past week.
The parents were in Tennessee visiting Liz.  Her divorce from Kenny is finally final, and she'll be taking Wade back as her last name.
Didn't do much in the way of bicycling this week.  Must get out more and do something!
On Saturday, I drove down to Bethlehem for a Mensa event.  We played Trivial Pursuit - guys against girls.  We won!

Bicycle, Bicycle!

Since I can't find anyone to play racquetball with me, I've taken to riding my bike.  I got air in the tires about two-weeks ago.  Since then, I've been out five or six times, riding along the levee.
My problem is, I can't get very far.  I've ridden down as far as Rutter Avenue, but to continue would mean crossing and then then riding along a very busy road.  Today, I tried going in the other direction, but that didn't work out too well, either.  Maybe I can find some kind of map.
At any rate, at least I've been getting out and doing something.  If I'm not going to play racquetball, maybe I'll quit the Y and see what another gym is like.
